I can’t tell you how many women I know are going through major life stuff right now.
Like the Universe just threw a bundle of dynamite into the center of their lives and they’re in the middle of it all, feeling shell shocked, rattled to their bones, and disoriented to a degree they’ve never known before.
Maybe this is happening in your life, too. Maybe everything feels like it’s falling apart, and you feel lost. Bereft. Angry. Adrift.
I know this place. It’s overwhelming. It’s humbling. And it’s scary AF.
Something I started to say to myself when I was eyeball deep in my own life implosion just a few short years ago, was to remind myself that none of what was happening was happening to me.
I chose to hold it inside of me as if somehow, all the anguish and devastation was happening for me.
If I didn’t play the victim role in my life, and if I didn’t blame or run or numb my way through, I knew I would discover how it was happening for me. Here is what I learned:
Even when it feels like someone has put your life through a paper shredder – which might take a while for you to “recover” fully from – consider that maybe… just maybe your life isn’t falling apart.
As messy and confronting and awful as it looks and feels, could it be possible that your life is now coming together in the “right” way?
Sometimes, for things to come together in the “right” way, you have to make big structural and foundational shifts. You must go through a complete tear down process.
Because maybe somewhere in your foundation and structure there was a core misalignment when everything was built. And that misalignment led you in a direction that has brought you to where you find yourself today.
So, maybe you’re in the midst of a complete tear down and redo. It might look like a relationship dissolution, a health crisis, a financial meltdown, or all the above simultaneously… and more.
Maybe some part of you knew things were misaligned, but you accommodated it. You tolerated it. You didn’t feel like you could say no or stop, so you just kept going.
Maybe the changes that some part of you knew needed to be made felt too big, too overwhelming, too terrifying. Or maybe your life was being built and lived by a part of you that was earnest and dedicated to playing a role, being a Good Girl, or operating on autopilot the way so many women in your lineage and the culture at large have done for centuries.
Your beliefs, your unconscious operating systems, your ego, and your fears are running your life under the surface. They will steer your life in a direction that your conscious, soulful self would never agree to.
And yet, amidst the neck deep mess your life might now be, what has never been possible before could be available to you now. Because you’re in a “do-over”. A fresh start is on it’s way. A second chance is imminent.
The things that maybe you’ve told yourself just can’t happen, are out of your reach, or just weren’t “meant to be”… all those things could be possible now because things are shifting at such an essential, structural, foundational level in your life, today.
Maybe this is all happening for you.
I believe that no matter what’s happened up until now, there is a perfection in all of it. All the misalignments, the “what was I thinking?!?” choices, the major life decisions that you made from a place inside that just didn’t know any better at the time – there is a perfection in it.
None of it has meant that you lost time, energy, or opportunities. None of it means you’re damaged, or used up, or bad.
Because you are more than your life choices and experiences. You are more than your misunderstandings and misalignments. You are more than the mess you might be living in right now.
Whatever the restructuring process you’re in today, it doesn’t define you. YOU get to define you for YOU. And from there, you get to rebuild in a way that simply wasn’t possible before.
Some of my own most painful and challenging life implosions have been watershed moments for me. They became times when I grew into myself in ways that never would have been possible without the restructuring and deepening of Self that needed to take place.
These life overhauls are so hard! They’re confusing, traumatizing, and scary in ways you might have tried to avoid ever seeing, feeling, or dealing with. Ever. Until now.
But, what if it’s all happening for you?
What if you’re in the midst of a massive life course correction?
What if this is an opportunity to come into greater integrity with yourself?
What if it’s all an invitation to infuse more of your own truth and divinity into your life, now?
There is so much we can grow from and grow into when we bring more conscious awareness and intentionality into our lives – especially if it wasn’t there, or it wasn’t there to a high degree, before.
I offer these words to you knowing that they do nothing to take away how deeply challenging whatever you are going through is. How grueling and excruciating and undeniably painful it is.
I know that so.very.well. Have you read my bio? 😉
But if you are in a massive life reboot, and you’re reading this, I want you to remember:
You are courageous.
You are incredible.
You are strong and powerful and beautiful beyond measure.
And…
You are in the midst of a trust walk with yourself.
A wise part of you knows you just need to keep taking the next step, and then the next step, and then the next. Having a “plan” or a “vision” might not even be possible from where you are currently standing.
Sometimes you won’t even know where you need to plant your foot next. Because you can’t know in advance. It’s something that emerges in the moment and then you step.
You have entered into a new world of mystery and unknowns, and your truth is the inner compass that will see you through.
You are so incredibly capable of taking whatever the next step is. You are stronger than you know. Because you are the rock star-goddess-heroine of your own life.
You are going to get through this. Whatever it looks like, and however long it takes. You will make it through.
It’s not about pushing, or forcing, or proving yourself now. It’s not about meeting other people’s expectations or living up to someone else’s idea of who you’re supposed to be.
You get to do it your way, now. You get to create it all according to your heart, your sacred desire, your joy, and your truth.
You get to do this! And YOU CAN.
I am here to walk by your side, every step of the way. I’m here to cheer you onward, upward, and forward. Because I see you, and I know how magnificent you really are.
Always.
