We’re all born with some pretty amazing natural inclinations that lead us towards comfort, joy and delight. Just watch a baby or young toddler navigate the world. They’re very clear when something doesn’t feel good, and they have no problem letting everyone know that something isn’t right.
They know how to get their needs and desires met, and they never feel shame or guilt. Feeling good is just natural, normal and true for them.
As adults, when we are operating from a healthy place inside of ourselves, we still know that we’re supposed to feel good. We naturally lean into living, working and relating in ways that fill us with happiness, serenity, and bliss.
But inevitably, we all become impacted by culture, family, religion and more. Over time, and with much repetition, these influences begin to steer us away – sometimes far, far away – from our healthy inclinations that know how to naturally choose contentment and ease.
Instead, we start to believe there’s something wrong if life isn’t difficult.
Over time, we become convinced there’s no gain without pain. We’re taught we have to sacrifice our health and happiness to succeed. We take on the erroneous belief that we have to choose between two mutually exclusive things: achievement and feeling good.
We become certain that if something isn’t working or happening fast enough it’s because we haven’t pushed hard enough. We fall into the trap of feeling we need to prove our worth, and constantly do our best to please everyone around us. Our value and lovability become mistakenly tied to how much we sacrifice, slave and suffer.
This unhealthy programming takes hold and starts to choke out the pure, unadulterated part of us that knows that we, and life, are meant to feel good.
Nearly every woman that comes to work with me is living her life from this less-than-healthy, old and outdated operating system that says she needs to constantly push, prove, please and punish herself in order to be lovable and successful. Many of my clients have achieved a lot by living and working this way.
Don’t get me wrong – there are times when we do need to work hard, push, stretch and sweat. But none of us are meant to live our lives from this place all of the time. We’re women, not machines.
Unless we update our programming to something that brings us back to our healthy inclinations, our inner knowing, and our glowing vitality, we will lose our lust for life. Instead of feeling ecstatic, radiant and fulfilled, we’ll run ourselves into the ground. We’ll exhaust and deplete our precious life force and lose sight of what it even feels like and means to be happy, whole, and deeply alive.
From my more than 20-years of working with clients, and my own personal journey through the twists and turns of life, I’ve discovered there are 5 non-negotiable things we need to be able to let go of this old programming and step into an entirely new way of living, working, and relating.
This new operating system no longer praises or prioritizes sacrifice and suffering. Instead, it emphasizes pleasing and nourishing yourself and arranging everything in your life so that your values and true priorities lead the way.
This new programming creates the conditions you need in your life so that you no longer have to choose between achievement and health, success and fulfillment, happiness and wealth. Because BOTH get to happen, simultaneously.
This new programming puts you back in touch with your inner knowing, your healthy inclinations towards vitality, joy and peace, and the part of you that’s always known that you are meant to feel good.
With this new operating system, you no longer have to abandon yourself for the sake of your ambitions – however big or small.
This new programming is what has allowed my clients to step into their next levels of health, wealth, confidence, visibility and leadership – in their businesses, their relationships, their families and with themselves.
With this new programming in place, they learn that whatever they create in their lives, and how they create it gets to be amazing. They get to experience first-hand how updating their programming allows them to craft their lives into a masterpiece where harmony and happiness reign supreme.
You have the resources inside of you to do this – to update your programming and let go of the slave-girl mentality and modus operandi. Every woman does.
AND…
This journey of upgrading your programming is complex. It’s riddled with unconscious conditioning, habitual thinking, emotional triggers, lifelong patterns, uncertainty, confusion, cultural influences and personal blind spots. If it was easy to let go of the old programming and simply install the new, we wouldn’t have an epidemic of exhausted and depleted women who are desperate to find a different way.
Freeing yourself from old programming can feel frustrating and impossible without a clear and structured view of what it is and how it operates. It can be virtually impossible to shift away from perpetual self-betrayal and sacrifice without a seasoned guide – someone who has walked this journey herself – to help you find your way through.
I am here, taking a powerful stand for you to release this old programming that holds so strong and fast to the outdated idea that life = struggle.
I believe with all of my heart that this new and liberating operating system is how we are actually meant to live in the world – with our innate wisdom, radiant vitality and joyful natural inclinations intact.
Because above and beyond our dreams, desires and ambitions, we all want to experience the freedom and love that is our birthright. Letting go of perpetual exhaustion and struggle puts you on the fast path to that everyday experience. Upgrading your programming and returning to the truth of who you really are is what allows us to create the kind of life you long to live.
I hope you choose to upgrade your programming and live into the love and freedom that is waiting for you.
