INGREDIENTS
2 medium sized apples, cored and rough chopped
3 Tbsp raw cashew butter
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp maca powder
1 cup fresh spinach
1½ cups purified water
(optional: 1 scoop vegan protein powder in a neutral flavor, or experiment with vanilla or chocolate flavors as desired)
DIRECTIONS
- Place the apples, cashew butter and flavorings and maca into the blender carafe, then add the spinach leaves, water and optional protein powder.
- Blend until smooth and creamy and serve immediately.
- Stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator, “Tastes Like Autumn” green smoothie will keep for 48 hours.
