We’ve arrived.
The end of 2023.
There will be a lot of conversations about fresh starts and new beginnings in the next few weeks.
But I feel it’s just as important to end things well, and bring the year we’ve just had to a conscious completion.
I will often reflect on a handful of questions at the year’s end to help me release what no longer serves me and take forward all that does.
I thought I’d share some of my questions with you below.
Pour yourself something nice to drink, maybe in a fancy glass (if that’s your thing), light a candle, and have a sit with your journal, or just with yourself.
Take a bit of time, whatever feels good to you, to reflect on your answers to the following questions:
- What was the best thing about 2023 for you?
- What was the most fun you had in 2023?
- What was the most challenging thing about 2023 for you?
- What did you learn about yourself this year?
- What do you see or know about yourself that you didn’t before now?
- Who supported you most in 2023? Make a list.
- What have you let go of in 2023? Make a list.
- What would help you feel healthier or more balanced in 2024? Make a list.
- Is there a habit or pattern you would like to leave in 2023?
- Is there a habit or pattern you would like to grow and nourish in 2024?
- As a result of all you answered above, who can you see you are becoming?
May these questions help you bring 2023 to a beautiful close, and support you in creating a magnificent 2024, one day at a time.
Lots of love,
Alicia
