I’m sure you’ve noticed that there are some shifts happening over here.
As I come out of my nearly 8-year healing cocoon… slowly, intentionally, carefully…
There are things I want to share and talk about that I haven’t shared before – that I couldn’t have shared before. I had to live it first.
Honestly, this next chapter for me is about living into the gifts my health crisis gave to me – and sharing them with you, too. It feels truly incredible. I hope you will stick around to hear what I have to say.
If you do, you’ll hear a few things about me you know (and some you don’t) including…
>> How much I adore my son, Ocean, and how crazy unpredictable life can get living as a single working mama (and how I am constantly finding my way with that in the most self-honoring ways possible) 👑
Here is a goofy photo of Ocean, with what is quite possibly award-winning bed head…😂
>>You’ll also hear about how my journey of healing long-standing health challenges has transformed so much in my life (honestly, for the better)… and how my journey has taught me so much about the levels of health and healing that so very often get overlooked 💪
>> And how much I love the deepest of deep when it comes to personal transformation work (I don’t do small! 😂), and how much I believe the dieting industry and our toxic hustle culture contributes to the pandemic of women’s health issues today 🌀
Some other things that are important for you to know about me are that I don’t believe in adhering to a particular diet or way of eating (though I used to), or that our bodies are untrustworthy, or that pushing and forcing in any area of life (more than once in a while) is healthy or sustainable.
I don’t do overwhelm or exhaustion – at least not anymore. I am very deliberate about the choices I make in my life and business to ensure a feeling of flow and peace for both myself, and my son. This is also one of the most powerful things I teach my clients.
I also believe that we look and feel our best when we listen to and honor what our bodies are communicating to us, and that most of us don’t know how to do this well, if at all.
Learning to fully honor yourself is about coming into a truer relationship with who you really are – and that goes for your body and all it requires, too. ❤
Thanks for reading my work. I’m so happy you’re here.
Lots of love,
Alicia
PS: I’ve been behind the scenes working diligently on something I can’t wait to share with you. Stay tuned. It’s coming soon!
